Dr. Landvater serves as our Chief Medical Officer at Olive Tree Family Counseling, where he provides oversight, guidance, and supervision to our medical team.

He is a 20 year Veteran, serving both in the Marine Corps and Navy, and has a passion for treating Military members, Veterans, First Responders, Clergy, and their families.  He also specializes treating psychiatric symptoms that cooccur with complex physical, neurological, or sleep conditions.

Dr. Landvater received his medical degree at Texas Tech University, and completed residency training in Psychiatry from Naval Medical Center Portsmouth.  Additionally, Dr. Landvater received his MBA from East Carolina University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.

Dr. Landvater is a fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, serves in multiple national and state level Psychiatric and Sleep Medicine organizations, is a published author, and is active in multiple community organizations.
